Taqueria El Grande: Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Tacoma

Amazing food and service. We normally order to go and within minutes our food is ready to go. The food is when we get home is hot and delicious. The taco salad with carnitas is perfection. Crispy shell perfect amount of meat and veggies. The burritos are stuffed and huge. It’s a meal in its self. You cannot go wrong eating here. Its worth the extra few dollars you would spend else where. This place has become our weekly lunch stop.

Taqueria El Grande has amazing food BUT even more amazing customer service. Every staff member is kind and welcoming. I always have a good experience at this restaurant!

My favorite Tacos in the area. I found this place when I first moved into my new home and I have gone back a handful of times. Authentic and never disappoints. The staff are never usually as excited to see me as I am them, but that's ok. I would go there more if they didn't use styrofoam products.

Do yourself a favor and have the breakfast burrito with bacon at least once. You will wonder why you ever ate anything else for breakfast. Staff is really nice and patient and to go orders rarely take longer than 10 minutes.

Great late night food when you don't want fast food before 11 pm. The staff was very nice and the food was muy bueno. I would definitely come here again. I pass by it all the time. Now I'm kicking myself for never trying it. The meat is seasoned perfectly. I ordered two steak tacos and a fajita plate. Very delicious.

This may be the best mom and pop place for legit Mexican food we have ever had. The carne asada tacos were delicious. The beans were not overly watery like some and had lots of flavor. The quesabirria was good without even having to use the consomme. The salsa bar was filled with flavorful, spicy, and delicious salsa. The creamy avocado one was my favorite but the chunky was spicy and full of veggies. There are quite a few tables if you want to eat inside or they package it to go. Staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. This won't be our only visit to this place while we are in town!

This place is our go to for any Mexican food! We love their tasty food and the service is great. Very friendly! Their food has the best flavor! I live 30 mins away and try to stop by when passing through Tacoma. We've tried just about everything here over the last few years, but our favorite is their breakfast burritos and sopes!

Oh my goodness my first time trying here and they did not disappoint. That was the best Quesadilla Birria I have ever taste. The food was fresh and place is clean. It was calm despite the location. I would definitely return.
